BOISE, ID / PRBuzz / July 25, 2011 – - Unity Media Group, a premier provider of award-winning engagement technologies, announced today that Mr. Scott Ellard has made an equity investment in the company. In addition to his investment position, Mr. Ellard will also sit on the Board of Directors.

Mr. Ellard was granted multiple national and international patents relating to the underlying technology as well as being co-awarded the 2009 TechAmerica Innovator’s Award for software with Dr. Scott Schumacher, Initiate’s Chief Scientist.

Mr. Ellard was also instrumental in other successful technology companies such as Informix Software, Visigenic Software, Independence Technologies, and Empart Technologies where he also served on their Board of Directors.
