
St. Luke’s Health System is a $1.3 billion dollar healthcare system in Boise, Idaho and a strategic investor and client of Unity. St. Luke’s saw the value of Unity’s products for communicating very complex medical information in a short-form video format that could be pushed to patients in their home. Additionally, they wanted to be able to track and measure that patients had received the information. To date, St. Luke’s has deployed thousands of videos to patients in specialties such as Bariatric Medicine, Heart and Vascular Health, Oncology and Rehabilitation. This has resulted in increased patient satisfaction and greater patient engagement.
St. Luke’s is the first healthcare institution to deploy one of Unity’s most sophisticated tools, the Wonderbar. The WonderBar™ was chosen for the purpose of enhancing corporate communications. The application will be pushed to desktops of thousands of employees where they will receive video communications at predetermined times. This will allow for immediate distribution on a mass level of topics ranging from messages from the Executive team to news stories and general hospital updates.
